About ELH Eventing

ELH Eventing is owned and run by Emma Humphrey who took her early steps on the road to a professional career in eventing through her family. Her grandfather Bob Humphrey BHSI established the family equestrian centre ‘School of National Equitation' in 1959. It is now owned and run by Emma's parents Sam and Louise Humphrey. Sam was a Point to Point jockey in his younger days, now he Team Chases and Hunts. Louise prefers Dressage, she competes to Medium level and is also a List 6 Dressage judge. Louise also runs regular affiliated and unaffiliated dressage competitions. (School of National Equitation)

Emma's has two farriers in her family, her uncle Phillip and her brother Mark. Mark is the yard farrier for ELH Eventing. He specialises in remedial shoeing and is an essential part of the team keeping the horses feet in optimum condition for performance.

Why don't you join Emma's Team?

There are a number of opportunities for Owners & Sponsors to become involved in a team which is really going places.

If you are an owner, Emma can provide the best possible environment for the development of your horse into a successful eventer. From young unbroken horses, through to Advanced rides, Emma is a sensitive & thoughtful rider who can adapt to each horse's individual needs.

If you don't have a horse but would like to be part of a fun team & enjoy days out at some of the UK & Europe's most beautiful venues, whilst advertising your business to a large audience, you could become a Sponsor. Please contact Emma directly to discuss Sponsoship packages, which are tailored to suit all budgets.

Once bitten by the bug of eventing, Emma began to focus more seriously on the sport and decided to become a trainee with one of the Country's leading International Event rider's and Olympic Medallist, Tiny Clapham.

After competing successfully at Advanced and CCI*** level, Emma has set up her own yard within the fabulous Aston-le-Walls Equestrian Centre.

With a team of young horses to produce and compete as well as her more established ride 'Venerable' who will be aiming to compete in his first Advanced run in 2006, Emma has an exciting future ahead of her.

In addition to producing and competing event horses for owners, Emma provides lessons utilising the fabulous arenas, showjumps and cross country course available at Aston-le-Walls.
